just got to say a little about this shit what went down the other day.
I think it was totaly out of order from the cops and I hope that they get in trouble for it. BUT everyday there is much worse going on and the outrage I have seen from some people acting like this is the worst crime ever to have been commited just because its a little close to home is ridiculous. The cops from what I have seen there was 4 or 5 of them and there was alot of band people/crew + alot of fans in a alley the cops probably felt like they were outnumbered and after giving mercy mercades I think it was 5 tickets is what I heard why did they not just obey the law and move the van even if that meant a longer walk to unload/load there stuff? If you get 5 tickets you cant really plead innocence can you?
Btw that totaly doesnt mean the cops can just beat them with fucking metal batons that is out of order and I dont know one single person who would dispute that. Cops are just meant to take you to the ground and arrest you thats it.
I just think this whole thing could have been avoided with some sense just move the fucking van the first time they ask? Then if they beat you they are going to be fucking screwed because you did what they asked and they would have no way they could ever say it was justified. But to get up to 5 tickets and still havn’t moved then idk seems strange? But still like i say just arrest them and take them to police station. Never any need to beat them with batons.
But like I say if any of that is factually incorrect I apologise I havn’t really been keeping up with it after the first night. Because it kind of makes me mad that people are killed by cops and murdered and things everyday and nobody says a word but just because its some bands in the ”scene” its a total outrage and yep it is, but I didn’t hear anyone utter a single word for any of the other stuff. People are acting like this is the worst crime they have ever sen or heard of.
The people who are just saying fuck the cops are the most stupid people I have ever heard aswell. Fuck the cops? If there were no cops what would you prefer the criminals to be running things? Its like anything cops are humans there are some total asshole people on this earth, there are some saints on this earth, there are some normal people on this earth. There is going to be cops in every bracket of those.
And people are just hearing it from one side of the story the bands involved arent going to say yeah we werte total assholes and the cops were threatend and we got 5 tickets. They are giving a one sided account of everything. People are just believing it. On the videos I watched I could hear a ton of people shouting fuck you bro fuck you. I dont know what kind of responses people expect from that?
But yeah I believe what valencia say so I know the police acted like assholes. Like I say I hope they get in trouble for it and are held accountable for their actions. They arent above the law. But people saying fuck all the cops and stuff like that are stupid. Yeah so I totally rambled on for ages about this. haha. But yeah I am glad everyone is ok I think !
